Zambia’s Copper Queens have advanced to the third round of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games qualifiers after beating Uganda 4-1 in the second leg at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The Copper Queens overturned a 2-1 first-leg deficit in Kampala to win the tie 5-3 on aggregate, keeping their hopes of qualifying for the Olympic Games alive.

Prisca Chilufya opened the scoring for Zambia before Eneless Phiri restored the Copper Queens’ lead. Captain Barbra Banda then scored a brace to seal the 4-1 victory.
