Chipolopolo Interim Head Coach GEORGE LWANDAMINA says the team has adequately prepared for tomorrow’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Algeria.
LWANDAMINA noted that all players called to camp have displayed the right attitude, which is a positive sign ahead of the highly anticipated encounter. He added that the squad is highly competitive, making it difficult for the technical bench to select the starting eleven.
Meanwhile, Team Captain FASHION SAKALA said the players are looking forward to the clash after a productive period in camp.
SAKALA, who made his senior international debut against Algeria at Heroes Stadium, recalled Zambia’s previous victory and said it will serve as motivation for the team to aim for another win.
Zambia face Algeria on Friday, September 25, at the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 Zambian time.
