President Hakainde Hichilema has terminated the service contract of Southern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Yolanta Mutyambe Malunga, with effect from October 13, 2026.

Malunga, who was appointed in September 2021, no longer represents the Government of the Republic of Zambia or Southern Province in her capacity as Deputy Permanent Secretary.

The termination was announced in a statement issued in Choma on Friday by Southern Province Principal Public Relations Officer, Wisdom Himanteka.

“The service contract for Southern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mrs Yolanta Mutyambe Malunga, was terminated with effect from October 13, 2026,” Himanteka stated.

“The public and all stakeholders are hereby informed of this development,” Himanteka said.
