THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced that it plans to enhance the quality of the KoPa brand kits and make the jerseys more accessible to supporters.

In a statement by FAZ head of Media and Communications, Nkweto Tembwe, the association said all national teams will continue using the locally manufactured brand kit as they work on improving it.

The decision was made during the FAZ Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting held in Lusaka on Saturday, where members discussed the future of the current kit sponsorship arrangement.

FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande said while the EXCO deferred a decision on restructuring the deal, the association remains committed to supporting the local brand.

“In light of a number of tournaments already lined up and underway, FAZ will continue kitting the national teams in KoPa.”

“We are however working to improve the quality and quantities of the kit. We will also endeavour to make the product more available through an online platform,” said Shepande.
