Fresh Jay Nard ft. Flex Zm & Venus Eagle – Nga Walinjebele

Lusaka-based rapper Fresh Jay Nard is making his mark with a new heartbreak-inspired single titled “Nga Walinjebele,” a deeply relatable record that explores the pain of giving everything to a relationship only to be left behind.

On the song, Fresh Jay Nard tells the story of a man who sacrificed his time, resources and everything he had for his significant other, only for the relationship to eventually come to an end. Left questioning what went wrong, he asks why she could not have told him earlier instead of allowing him to continue investing his energy and resources into a relationship that was destined to fail.

The emotional storytelling gives “Nga Walinjebele” its appeal, as the rapper captures the frustration that comes with feeling like your sacrifices were taken for granted. The record speaks to anyone who has ever gone all-in for someone, only to discover that their partner was no longer committed to the relationship.

Adding a melodic touch to the record, Flex ZM handles the hook with smooth and expressive vocals that perfectly complement Fresh Jay Nard’s verses. Venus Eagle also joins the song with a verse that adds another layer to the heartbreak narrative, making the overall melody even more engaging.

Together, the three artists create a compelling record that balances rap, melody and emotional storytelling, giving “Nga Walinjebele” a sound that is both relatable and easy to connect with.
