HD Empire Ft. Chef 187 – Nilisa Video

HD Empire continues its musical run with the release of “Nilisa,” a new collaboration featuring celebrated Zambian rapper Chef 187. The record takes a reflective look at the everyday struggles faced by people working hard to build better lives while navigating the challenges that come with the journey.

“Nilisa” speaks to those who sacrifice, endure difficult moments and keep pushing forward despite the obstacles standing in their way. At the heart of the song is a question that resonates with many hardworking people — how long must one continue putting in the effort before their breakthrough and blessings finally arrive?

HD Empire delivers the song from the perspective of people determined to keep moving despite the difficulties, while Chef 187 adds his distinctive rap delivery to the collaboration. His contribution brings another perspective to the subject matter and complements HD Empire’s performance, giving the record additional lyrical depth.

The lyrics were written by Paul Sakahudu and Christopher Mwango Jr, with production handled by Sam Kapita. The accompanying music video was directed by Dir. Brown, adding a visual dimension to the song’s message of perseverance, sacrifice and the pursuit of a better life.

With “Nilisa,” HD Empire and Chef 187 deliver a record that speaks directly to anyone who continues working, sacrificing and believing in their breakthrough despite not yet seeing the results they are hoping for.
