IF ZAMBIA’S ELECTIONS WERE RIGGED, THEN GOD RIGGED THEM SAYS UEBERT ANGEL.

Zimbabwean prophet Uebert Angel has delivered a controversial message on Zambia’s elections, declaring that if the election was rigged, then “God rigged it.”

Adressing his church members on Sunday, Angel says he had already prophesied that Zambia’s electoral outcome would not ultimately be determined by political calculations or the ballot box, but by prayer and prophecy.

The outspoken prophet has now revisited his earlier prophecy, insisting that he declared as far back as 2024 that President Hakainde Hichilema would emerge victorious.

Angel also brought the late Lunte Member of Parliament, Mutotwe Kafwaya, into the story, claiming that Kafwaya and his team once visited his church to beg for miracles that Hichilema is removed.

According to Angel, when the team arrived, he told them they had “come late” because, in his view, God had already made the decision and no amount of miracle could change that.

He claims the outcome had already been revealed to him in 2024, long before the latest political battles and accusations surrounding the election.

However many Zambians are wondering weather the election is decided by the voters, by the political machinery, or as Angel dramatically suggests by divine intervention.

And his most provocative line is likely to dominate the conversation, “If Zambia’s elections were rigged, then God rigged them.”
