The Pastors Fellowship in Kalulushi has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election for a second term, attributing the victory to the development delivered to the country.

Pastors Fellowship Kalulushi Chairperson, Reverend Clinton Longwani, told ZANIS in an interview in Kalulushi district that Zambians had no doubt in President Hichilema’s development agenda because there were visible projects to point to.

Rev Longwani said through the development projects the President had embarked on, the people of Zambia had expressed confidence in him and felt he deserved another mandate to complete what he started.

“We want to support the continuity of the free education policy, the school feeding program, and school bursaries for both public and private institutions. It is commendable work,” Rev Longwani said.

He added that as pastors in Kalulushi district, their prayer was that God grants President Hichilema wisdom to lead the nation.

He noted that the President had demonstrated leadership qualities that the country needs.

Meanwhile, Rev Longwani said the pastors in Kalulushi district have called on President Hichilema to help unite the country, noting that post-election issues can sometimes be traumatic.
