Zambia Under‑17 Women’s National Football Team Head Coach Carol Kanyemba has summoned a 35‑member provisional squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA Women’s World Cup slated for Morocco next month.
The team will enter camp this weekend.
According to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), players such as Grace Phiri, Taonga Mubanga, Esther Ngabwe, and Beatrice Njobvu, who featured in last year’s edition, have made it into the provisional squad.
The Copper Princesses, among five African countries taking part, are in Group D alongside Japan, France, and Venezuela.

Zambia will open its campaign on October 18, 2026, against Japan, before facing Venezuela three days later. The team will conclude the group stage with a fixture against France on Independence Day, October 24, 2026.
The tournament runs from October 17 to November 7, 2026, with 24 players set to be selected from the provisional squad.
