Zambia’s motorsport sensation Ikram Bux, popularly known as King Bux, has continued his impressive dominance on the regional motorcycle racing circuit after winning the 750cc class at Donnybrook Raceway in Zimbabwe.

Representing 313 Racing Club, the Eastern Province star maintained his remarkable three-year unbeaten streak, once again flying Zambia’s flag high beyond the country’s borders.

Meanwhile, his teammate Ali Hopper, also known as Zambia’s King of Drag, won the 1000cc category with a reported 9.4-second run. Fellow 313 Racing Club rider MHB Mohd finished second, while Ruru came fifth and Mohamed Ally seventh.

The reported 9.4-second performance was described by team representatives as the fastest track time ever recorded at Donnybrook Raceway, although the claim has not been independently verified.

Despite a mechanical setback involving a broken shaft on Mohamed Ally’s X3 vehicle, 313 Racing Club celebrated an impressive outing, securing victories in both the 750cc and 1000cc categories.

King Bux’s continued success is putting Zambia and the Eastern Region on the regional motorsport map, showcasing the talent, determination and competitive spirit of Zambian riders.
