Ndola Police have arrested a 24‑year‑old woman in connection with a case of Harassment Utilising Means of Electronic Communication, contrary to the law.

The matter was reported at Masala Police Station on September 16, 2026, by Prince Kasongo (34), a trustee of the Truck Drivers Association of Zambia.

Mr. Kasongo alleged that a TikTok post by content creator “Nana Babe” contained remarks directed at truck drivers, including allegations of fuel theft, low salaries, and poor hygiene.

He said the content caused emotional distress among members of the truck driving community.

Following investigations, police identified the suspect as Natasha Nambeya (24), of Mushili Bonano, Ndola, who was subsequently apprehended. A docket has been opened, and investigations are continuing.

Copperbelt Division Police Commissioner Rae Hamoonga has reminded the public, including social media users and content creators, to exercise responsibility online and avoid communications that may constitute offences under the law.
