Numba Mumamba Rates ZANACO 65 % Ready for New Season

Zanaco Head Coach Numba Mumba has rated his team’s performance at 65 percent, after a 2-2 draw against AS Simba of the Democratic Republic of Congo in a training match at Sunset Stadium.

AS Simba took an early lead through Kinda Makasiya in the first minute, before Brian Kabika equalised for Zanaco in the 10th minute.

Ian Sindaye then put Zanaco ahead in the 70th minute, but Kalombo Monga scored the final goal of the match to earn AS Simba a 2-2 draw.

Speaking after the match, Mumamba said the training match has given the technical bench a good picture of where the team stands and the areas that need improvement.

The coach added that Zanaco are still looking to strengthen the squad, particularly in central defence, with the club considering a foreign central defender.

He says two players from Nigeria and Nambia have arrived and will be assessed as Zanaco continues to prepare for the new league season.
