SHAKAFUSWA LEADS AS MANDEVU CONSTITUENCY WAITS!
Lusaka’s Mandevu Constituency is still awaiting the official declaration of its newly elected Member of Parliament, nine days after voting took place.
At the time the election tallying was disrupted, the UPND’s Chiristopher Shakafuswa was narrowly leading the race to Manda Hill with an Independent Adrian Banda following closely.
The parliamentary race remains closely contested among three (3) leading candidates:
✅ Christopher Shakafuswa – UPND
🔹 Adrian Banda – Independent
🔺 Jean Kapata – Resolute party
The constituency remains one of those yet to have its National Assembly results officially declared. The wait continues as ECZ seeks to reconcile its records and bring the race to a close.
