Mr. HAMAAMBA said when police confronted the vehicle, the suspect managed to escape, abandoning the vehicle. He said officers subsequently recovered several items from the vehicle, including the laptop. Mr. HAMAAMBA said investigations are continuing, adding that the registration number displayed on the vehicle was allegedly fake. He said the registration number 7945 was reportedly registered to a truck, while the vehicle involved in the incident was identified as a Honda Fit.
