RE: REPUDIATION OF FALSE AND MALICIOUS ONLINE STATEMENT TO THE EFFECT THAT MR. BONAVENTURE MUTALE, SC AND MR. CHIFUMU BANDA, SC EACH RECEIVED $750,000.


1. We refer to the articles circulating online on various online and social media platforms to the effect that Mr. Bonaventure Mutale, SC and Mr.Chifumu Banda, SC each received $750,000 FROM Mr. Brian Mundubile in relation to the petition.

2. One of the online platform is entitled;



“MUNDUBILE SPLASHES MILLIONS ON ELECTION COURT BATTLE”

3. The said publications are a false and malicious publication. Neither Mr. Bonaventure Mutale, SC nor Mr. Chifumu Banda, SC have received the said sum of USD $750,000 in relation to the Petition.



4. The publications have the potential of endangering the lives of Mr. Bonaventure Mutale, SC and Mr. Chifumu Banda, SC as they are not in receipt of the said monies from Mr. Mundubile.



5. Mr. Bonaventure Mutale, SC and Mr. Chifumu Banda, SC reserve their rights to launch a complaint with the Zambia Police Cyber Crime Unit against the authors of the said publication for investigations and prosecution.
