United Party for National Development (UPND) Youth Leadership in Eastern Province says it has communicated with the Lusaka UPND Youth Leadership to block and restrain Petauke Central Constituency Member of Parliament Laliwe Banda, a sister to fugitive Emmanuel Jay Banda, from attending Parliament for fear that she may harm UPND MPs and President Hakainde Hichilema.

UPND Youth Chairperson Lyson Nyirenda and his Vice Cephas Mandauka say the youths are demanding an apology from the family of Emmanuel Jay Banda, Petauke chiefs and his mother over remarks he allegedly made that he would kill President Hakainde Hichilema.

The duo say that failure to apologise will result in the Petauke Central MP not being allowed to enter Parliament, in order to protect the President and the party.

Mr. Nyirenda says the UPND has no trust in the Church as it has completely lost value and has gone to sleep.

The UPND Youth Leadership was speaking to the media in Chipata.
