Bow Chase ft. Young Kay – Ungrateful Video

Bow Chase and Young Kay have teamed up for the official music video for “Ungrateful,” a heartfelt record that explores the pain of being forgotten by someone you once supported. The song speaks to the experience of giving your time, resources, love and sacrifices to help another person grow, only to find yourself overlooked once they achieve success.

“Ungrateful” centres on the difficult reality of helping someone rise from nothing and watching them eventually forget the people who stood beside them during their journey. Through the song, Bow Chase and Young Kay capture the disappointment that comes when genuine support and sacrifice are not acknowledged after the person you helped reaches a better position in life.

The record taps into a relatable theme of loyalty, gratitude and betrayal, reminding listeners of the people who often make sacrifices behind the scenes while others receive the recognition. The emotional subject matter gives “Ungrateful” a reflective quality that allows the message to resonate beyond the music.

The accompanying music video was directed by Brown, while the audio was produced by Bento and Uptown Beats. Together, the visuals and production complement the song’s emotional message, bringing the story of sacrifice and disappointment to life.

With “Ungrateful,” Bow Chase and Young Kay deliver a record for anyone who has ever helped someone build their success, only to feel forgotten when the tables eventually turned.
