Over 270,000 Farmers Ready to Access Inputs Under FISP

By Patricia Banda Over 270,000 farmers are ready to access their allocated agricultural inputs from accredited agro-dealers under the 2026/2027 Farming Input Support Programme-FISP E-Voucher system. Agriculture Principal Public Relations Officer BALEWA ZYUULU says the farmers have received redemption codes which will enable them to access their allocated inputs. Mr. ZYUULU has told ZNBC News in an interview that Government is targeting more than one million farmers under the 2026/2027 FISP programme. He has directed all accredited agro-dealers to allow eligible farmers to redeem their allocated inputs without unnecessary delays. Mr. ZYUULU has also encouraged farmers across the country to seek technical advice from Agriculture Extension Officers on the selection, timing and proper use of inputs, as well as appropriate farming practices.
