TONSE Alliance founder member Dr. Chris Zumani Zimba says dialogue and reconciliation with the UPND is the only way to save NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, his running mate Makebi Zulu and others facing political charges.
In a lengthy post shared on his Facebook page yesterday but later deleted, Dr. Zimba proposed the formation of a Government of National Unity between President Hakainde Hichilema and TONSE Alliance president Brian Mundubile.
Dr. Zimba further proposed that the only way to redeem Mr. Mundubile, Mr. Zulu and others is for them to sit down with the UPND and pursue dialogue and reconciliation.
“Unilaterally drop the political charges against NRPUP Presidential candidate, Hon. Brian Mundubile and his running mate, Hon. Makebi Zulu.
Dialogue and reconciliation with UPND is the only practical option if we desire to redeem BM, MZ and many others already arrested from facing multiple malicious political charges and prolonged imprisonment instead of more legal confrontations and political battles,” Dr. Zimba stated.
