Uganda’s reported plan to send around 1,200 soldiers to Israel is drawing criticism and raising questions over Kampala’s foreign-policy strategy.
The controversy comes amid escalating tensions involving Israel and several countries across the region. Israel faces growing friction with Turkey and Iran , while tensions with Egypt have also remained sensitive.
