Zambian rap heavyweight Umusepela Crown has officially announced the release date and impressive featured-artist lineup for his highly anticipated second studio album, “STAR WAKUMWESU,” taking an unconventional route to reveal the details. Rather than relying on a traditional album announcement, the rapper has delivered the information through a new song titled “Road To ‘STAR WAKUMWESU’ Album,” creatively structured around the concept of an album press briefing.

Through the entertaining announcement, Umusepela Crown confirms that “STAR WAKUMWESU” will officially drop on 28th October 2026, while giving fans a glimpse of the extensive lineup attached to the project. The album features Original Bris, Ak’sik, Mumba Yachi, Y Celeb, El The Legendary, Triple M, Devlo Zm, Tricia, Chile One Mr. Zambia, James Sakala, Frank Ro, Jae Izzy, Mr. Turner, Molto Zambia, JC Kalinks, Chef 187, Soyi, Kayz Adams, Gynks Justin and Paul Smart

Beyond revealing the album details, Umusepela Crown uses the concept to pay homage to artists who have influenced his musical journey, notably Macky 2 and Chef 187, adding a personal dimension to what is otherwise an entertaining album briefing. The approach also reflects the rapper’s creativity in finding different ways to engage his audience while building anticipation for his next major project.

“Road To ‘STAR WAKUMWESU’ Album” was produced by Rizzo Bxss, with the accompanying visuals handled by Dricko under KNB Media House. The press-briefing concept is further brought to life through reporter voice-overs from Saliya Miyanda, Jimmy Kapalanasha, Malama Mukonde and Fabulous Tim, completing the unconventional announcement.

With such a broad lineup of established and emerging Zambian voices, anticipation is now building around what Umusepela Crown has prepared for his second studio album. “STAR WAKUMWESU” officially lands on 28th October 2026.
