President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has officially opened the first session of the 14th National Assembly, with a call for support towards the Grow Zambia Agenda.

In his official address to National Assembly, President HICHILEMA said every zambia must be involved in working towards meeting the targets of the agenda.

He explained that there will be many Public-Private collaborations, in meeting the targets in the agriculture, mining, electricity, tourism and industrial sectors.

President HICHILEMA said his administration is hopeful that the agenda will be met due to the stable macro-economic environment, which his government worked on during his first term.

Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA has noted that parliament is now for the first time representative of all sections of society, following the amendment of the Constitution.

He explained that men, women and the youth, from diverse backgrounds, are effectively represented in parliament, adding that the case is the same in local authorities.
