Addressing the newly appointed Ministers at State House today, President HICHILEMA tasked them to focus on delivering the Grow Zambia agenda.

President HICHILEMA noted that the Grow Zambia Agenda is important as is intended to drive economic expansion, create jobs and unlock business and other opportunities for citizens.

He said the income generated from the targets under the agenda will enable government to invest in other critical sectors, including health and the digital economy.

President HICHILEMA told the Ministers to serve with integrity and ensure that public resources are used to benefit all 21 million Zambians, noting that corruption will not be condoned.

He advised the Ministers to focus on delivering results for the people instead of becoming engrossed in routine working hours.

President HICHILEMA has directed Mr HAIMBE to continue strengthening Zambia’s economic diplomacy, which he says must translate into economic growth and jobs.

He has also tasked Dr SIAME to ensure that the Ministry Green Economy and Environment establishes itself as an economic ministry.

And to Professor CHILENGI, President HICHILEMA said the Ministry of Health must put patients at the centre of its operations, adding that there should also be an end to pilferage of medicines.
