HH Takes Oath of Office for Second Term

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has taken the Oath of Office and has been formally sworn in as President of Republic of Zambia. This marks the beginning of President HICHILEMA’s second term of Office. The President who took oath before Chief Justice MUMBA MALILA, was cheered by thousands of Zambians in the National Heroes Stadium terraces. President HICHILEMA is accompanied by First lady MUTINTA HICHILEMA who dawned a beautiful white and red attire. And President HICHILEMA’s running mate MUTALE NALUMANGO has also been sworn as Vice President after taking oath of Office. President HICHILEMA was accorded a presidential guard of honour which includes the national anthem, a fly past and a 21 gun salute. The President’s inauguration has been attended by five Presidents from Tanzania, Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. China has sent a representative who is at the level of Vice President in the Chinese Government. Several other countries who include the United States of America , the United Arab Emirates ,Rwanda, Malawi and Eswatini among others have sent high ranking representative.
