President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has warned that lawlessness by citizens will not be tolerated, regardless of political affiliation.
President HICHILEMA says it is important for the country to uphold the rule of law, peace and stability as it is essential to attracting local and foreign investment, creating jobs and growing the economy.
President HICHILEMA says this is why Government has remained committed to protecting Zambia’s peace and stability, maintaining law and order, and safeguarding democratic institutions.
He says the reclaiming of public spaces from cadres, including markets and bus stations, is one of the efforts put in place to ensure the country has order.
President HICHILEMA has since urged citizens and public officials to protect Zambia’s international reputation and work collectively towards national development.
