Iran has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim over the Strait of Hormuz by publishing a map portraying California as “new territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The image was shared through an Iranian government-linked account on X on August 19, appearing to mirror Trump’s recent rhetoric over the strategic waterway.
