ZAF Commander Lieutenant General OSCAR NYONI has challenged Red Arrows Football Club to aim for success in all competitions during the 2026-2027 football season.
Speaking to ZNBC Sports News in an interview on the sidelines of the 2026 ABSA Marathon, General NYONI acknowledged that the team did well last season by finishing second in the MTN Super League and winning the ABSA Cup title.
He, however, expressed his desire to see the team take it a notch higher and perform better this coming season.
And Red Arrows Head Coach CHISI MBEWE said his charges are ready for the 2026-2027 Transition League.
MBEWE said the team has been assembled in a way that will enable them to compete in the CAF Confederation Cup and the league without complications.
And Red Arrows midfielder ACKIM MUMBA said he is targeting the Golden boot this season, as his priority remains to help the team excel.
Red Arrows will open their 2026-2027 Transitional League campaign with an away fixture against Mutondo Stars on the 4th of October at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya.
