By Chansa Kunda Zambia will this Friday, September 18, start its quest for a 13th COSAFA Under-20 men’s title, when the tournament kicks off in Mozambique. Having last won the title in 2022 in Eswatini, the Junior Chipolopolo start a fresh campaign with qualification for the Under-20 AFCON qualification objective. The team has been placed in Group C with the Comoros, Botswana and Malawi. Coach, PERRY MUTAPA says the players are fully prepared and looking forward to the championship. Meanwhile, FAZ President, KEITH MWEEMBA says he is pleased with the players’ response to training. MWEEMBA has since challenged the team to fight for a place at the AFCON. The Junior Chipolopolo will open their COSAFA campaign against Malawi on September 18, 2026.
