COPPERBELT YOUTHS CONGRATULATE PRESIDENT HICHILEMA ON LANDSLIDE RE-ELECTION

Youths from Zambia’s Copperbelt Province have congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his reelection, describing the landslide victory as clear affirmation of his administration’s policies, particularly in the mining sector.

Speaking on behalf of the Copperbelt youths, Frank Mulenga said the region’s young people would continue to support President Hichilema, citing the president’s strong plans for youth development across the country.

“Over the past five years, youths on the Copperbelt and in Zambia at large have benefited from various opportunities, especially through skills training programmes offered under the Constituency Development Fund,” Mulenga said.

He added that the group looks forward to working with the Hichilema administration in the next term to advance shared economic prosperity as well as regional peace and security.

The Copperbelt remains Zambia’s mining heartland, and the youths’ endorsement highlighted the perceived impact of government policies on job creation and skills development in the sector.
