Lusaka, Zambia24 — October 24, 2026 — Zambian model, actress and musician Delphine Lengwe is looking beyond the country’s borders as she works to build her entertainment career under the stage name DelZee, with ambitions to break into international music, modelling and film.
Lengwe hopes to use the emerging brand to introduce her talent to wider audiences, particularly in Nigeria and the United States, while creating opportunities to work with established African musicians, filmmakers and other entertainment professionals.
Her plans include releasing a new song during the festive season, exploring acting opportunities in Nigeria’s film industry and pursuing collaborations that could help her gain recognition beyond Zambia. The song’s release, however, remains subject to production readiness and final arrangements.

William John of KuliKuli Entertainment’s European Liaison Office said the organisation had identified Lengwe as a potential creative talent after the 2025 International Business Exchange hybrid conference, which brought together participants from different countries.
John said her profile had remained under consideration as the organisation explored possible opportunities for her development.
He stressed that discussions about her future in the industry should not be mistaken for a completed signing or confirmed partnership, adding that any formal arrangement would depend on further discussions and mutual agreement.
John said KuliKuli Entertainment preferred exploring joint ventures with prospective artists, allowing the parties to agree on the scope of their work, production expenses, ownership of creative material, revenue sharing and promotional responsibilities.
He said any proposed collaboration with Lengwe would need clear, written terms to protect the interests of everyone involved and establish realistic expectations.
For Lengwe, music is one of several creative paths she hopes to pursue as she develops the DelZee identity.
Her upcoming song is expected during the festive season, although the title and theme have not yet been announced. Nigeria is expected to play a role in the creative process, while the United States is among the markets she hopes to reach.
Rather than rush the release, the intention is to complete the necessary production work and prepare the music for its intended audience.
Lengwe is also looking towards Nigeria, where she hopes to connect with Afrobeat musicians, producers, filmmakers, photographers, stylists and other professionals who could help her develop her career.
Nigeria’s music and film industries offer potential opportunities for artists seeking new audiences and experience in cross-border productions. For Lengwe, the challenge will be turning those possibilities into practical collaborations that support her artistic growth.
She also hopes to explore creative opportunities with fellow artist Bobby Hai as part of her wider plans.
Beyond music, Lengwe wants to establish herself in modelling and acting, with ambitions to pursue professional photography, fashion assignments, promotional campaigns and roles in Zambian and Nigerian films.
She is particularly interested in opportunities within Nollywood, Nigeria’s film industry, where she hopes to develop her acting skills and gain experience in different forms of storytelling.
Her ambitions also extend to meeting fashion and beauty personalities and exploring possible collaborations with representatives of Miss Zambia, Miss Africa and Miss Nigeria.
Abuja is among the Nigerian destinations she hopes to visit for photography, networking and creative projects, as well as to experience the country’s cultural and tourism attractions.
These plans have yet to translate into confirmed engagements, but they form part of her broader ambition to establish professional relationships across African entertainment markets.
Another opportunity being discussed is Lengwe’s reported shortlisting for a possible performance at the Northern Nigeria Celebrities Hall of Fame Diaspora Awards (NNCHOFDA) 2027.
The event, organised under the KuliKuli Entertainment umbrella, seeks to recognise creative personalities, cultural contributors and influential figures associated with Northern Nigerian entertainment and the diaspora.
If the organisers confirm her participation, Lengwe hopes to become the first Zambian performer to appear at the event, giving her an opportunity to showcase Zambian talent to audiences beyond her home country.
Her participation has not yet been confirmed, however, and the claim that she would be the first Zambian performer would need to be verified against the event’s previous records.
John said KuliKuli Entertainment’s activities included talent discovery, music production, artist development, film, live events and international creative partnerships.
He said the organisation’s network could help prospective artists explore suitable opportunities, but emphasised that progress depended on professionalism, clear communication and a willingness to meet agreed commitments.
John encouraged Lengwe to remain focused on developing her abilities, saying talent needed to be supported by preparation, consistency and responsible professional relationships.
For Lengwe, the DelZee identity is intended to bring together her interests in music, modelling, acting, dance, philanthropy and education.
She hopes to grow beyond a single area of entertainment while maintaining the interests that have shaped her personal and professional identity.
Her wider ambition is to build a career that brings creative achievement and personal growth together with opportunities to contribute to her community.
She also hopes to increase her visibility through Zambian newspapers, television, radio and digital publications as her music and other projects progress.
The immediate priorities include completing her upcoming song, preparing promotional material, strengthening her modelling and acting portfolio and identifying suitable collaborators.
Any proposed partnership or international performance will need to be formally agreed upon before it can be presented as a confirmed development.
As Zambia celebrates its Independence Day, Lengwe has expressed hopes for continued peace, unity and prosperity, alongside greater opportunities for people pursuing their ambitions.
Her plans reflect a desire to take Zambian creativity to wider audiences while building a career that connects music, fashion and film across national borders.
For now, the festive-season release, potential Nigerian collaborations and possible 2027 awards appearance remain works in progress.
The next stage of Lengwe’s journey will depend on how these ambitions develop into actual projects, professional partnerships and opportunities to reach new audiences.
Through DelZee, she hopes to establish a distinctive place in the entertainment industry while contributing to the growing visibility of Zambian talent on the international stage.
