The Football Association of Zambia –FAZ- has fined POWER DYNAMOS and NKANA FOOTBALL CLUB a combined K200,000 and imposed stadium restrictions on both clubs following the use of political slogans by their supporters during MTN Super League matches.
Each club has been fined K100,000 for breaching Article 3 of the FAZ Constitution, which prohibits the use of political slogans at football venues.
The disciplinary action follows incidents recorded during Week Two of the MTN Super League.
Both clubs have been ordered to pay their respective fines within 72 hours of receiving the verdict.

POWER DYNAMOS were cited over their October 11, 2026 fixture against NCHANGA RANGERS at Arthur Davies Stadium, while NKANA faced disciplinary action following their match against MAKENI ALL STARS at Nkana Stadium.
In its ruling delivered on October 30, 2026, the FAZ Disciplinary Committee handed POWER DYNAMOS a three-match ban from using Arthur Davies Stadium.
NKANA, meanwhile, have been ordered to play their next five home matches at a neutral venue located at least 300 kilometres from Nkana Stadium, with the matches to be played behind closed doors.
However, the committee has partially suspended NKANA’s five-match sanction after taking into account the club’s expression of remorse and proposed corrective measures.
Meanwhile, FAZ General Secretary CHARLES CHAKATAZYA has commended the Disciplinary Committee for its swift action, saying the sanctions should serve as a warning to the wider football fraternity.
CHAKATAZYA says football stadia must remain safe and welcoming spaces for members of the public, adding that both clubs are expected to have learnt valuable lessons from the disciplinary action.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC Sports News by FAZ Head of Media and Communications NKWETO TEMBWE.
