Government has revoked passports for six individuals who include former Ambassador to Ethiopia EMMANUEL MWAMBA.
Home Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary DICKSON MATEMBO has confirmed the development to ZNBC News.
According to a Government Gazette Notice number 1421 of 2026, the revocation is for security reasons.
Others whose passports have been revoked are former Petauke Member of Parliament EMMANUEL JAY BANDA, former Nkana Member of Parliament, BINWELL MPUNDU and former Special Assistant to President for Politics in the PF administration, KAISER ZULU.

The rest are Academician SISHUSWA SISHUSHWA and Social Media vlogger LILLIAN MUTAMBO.
The individuals are required to surrender the documents immediately to the Department of National Registration Passport and Citizenship, Immigration or Zambia Police.
The Gazette further states that the documents are no longer valid for identification, travel or any official purpose.
It indicates that any use of the cancelled document may constitute an offence.
