Zambia Railways Limited and its Managing Director, CUTHBERT MALINDI, have mutually agreed to separate, effective today, Thursday, September 17, 2026.
In a statement issued in Lusaka today, the Board of Directors said it appreciates Mr. MALINDI for his leadership, commitment and contribution to the company during his tenure.
Company Secretary MWENDABAI MWALUSI-BULAYA has been appointed Acting Managing Director.
The Board said the appointment is intended to ensure continuity in the management and operations of Zambia Railways Limited.
It said further developments regarding the company’s leadership will be communicated in due course.
