By Chansa Kunda Copper Queens Captain BARBRA BANDA has extended her contract with National Women’s Soccer League Side Orlando Pride until 2029. This is according to an announcement made by the Club. The 26 Year old joined Pride in 2024 helping the Club secure both the National Women’s Soccer League Shield and Championship making it the third time that a team has won the double in the leagues history. Since joining the Club, BANDA has scored 41 goals, made 11 assists in 62 appearances across all competitions. Club Owner and Chairperson MARK WILF says the coming of BANDA has helped elevate the team to new heights and established Pride as premier Women’s football Club in the world. Club General Manager CAITLIN CARDUCCI says securing Barbra’s future is a reflection of their commitment to investing in the players who define the club and help them achieve success. BANDA says she is very happy to continue her journey with the Club.
