No One is Above The Law -Nevers Mumba

Former Vice President NEVERS MUMBA says the law must take its course on LUSAKA Catholic Archbishop ALICK BANDA in the case is accused of receiving a property unlawfully disposed. Dr. MUMBA said the determination of facts in the matter remains the responsibility of the courts. He has expressed confidence that the judicial system will resolve Dr. BANDA’s case within the confines of the laws. Dr. MUMBA says despite calls for national unity and healing ,no one is above the law. He was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in LUSAKA today. Dr. MUMBA has called on members of the clergy to exercise caution on donations from various sources. Dr. MUMBA said the clergy must be turning down gifts whose sources, ownership or purpose are not immediately clear. Meanwhile, Dr. MUMBA has condemned those misrepresenting President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s recent trip to Abu Dhabi,United Arabs Emirate. He has urged the public to consider the purpose and national interests with regards to President HICHILEMA’s ‘s international engagements rather than relying on misleading opinions .
