DID THEY PAY THE PETITION FEE?
By the way, under the Constitutional Court Rules, a document that is required to be filed will not be accepted by the Registry unless the prescribed fee has been paid.
For an ordinary petition you pay K168.00, while a Presidential Petition costs K834.00.
This might look simple or amount small, but without paying this small amount, your petition is doomed. Can’t be heard.
Courts demand strict adherence to rules.
And remember, the Constitutional court is final when it comes to Constitutional matters including presidential petition. Its at same level with supreme Court.
The chief justice is not part of the Constitutional court.
So show us the receipt if you paid petition fee as required by rules?-ZWD
