Zambia celebrates Mushibi’s historic Miss World feat

“For the first time in history, Adah Mushibi has made it to the Top 12 at Miss World,” Musukwa stated.

“She cannot continue relying on taxis to carry out her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ duties. Let’s celebrate our own. She deserves a car. The Mercedes-Benz costs K320,000, and as Arm Model Management, we are kickstarting the drive with a K20,000 contribution.”

Expressing her gratitude, Mushibi thanked both her global fans and Zambians for their unwavering support.

“Thank you for believing in me, for inspiring me, and for reminding me that beauty has a purpose to make a difference,” she said.

On her historic route to the finals, Mushibi also secured another milestone by winning the Miss World Multimedia Challenge, a first-ever win for Zambia.

Beyond the glitter and glamour of the catwalk, Mushibi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine, truly embodying the concept of beauty with brains.

She won the hearts of the judges and global audiences by proudly showcasing her heritage through a traditional dance from her native Luvale tribe.

“What an honor it was to share a piece of my heritage with the world,” Mushibi said on social media.

“I had the privilege of showcasing my tribe’s traditional dance on the Miss World stage, carrying the rhythm, spirit, and stories of the Luvale people. These are more than just Zambian moves; they are a celebration of who we are, where we come from, and the culture we proudly carry forward.”

During her time in the Asian nation, Mushibi explored Vietnam beyond the pageant, discovering the rich artistry and generations of tradition woven into the country’s intricate weaving and pottery.

Dedicated to philanthropy, she founded the Advocacy Evans Jr Foundation, an organisation dedicated to cerebral palsy awareness, in memory of her late older brother, Evans. She also actively serves as a breast cancer awareness champion.
