Ministry of Youth Receives 100 Fuel Tankers

Kinglong Motors Zambia Limited has handed over 100 fuel tankers to the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts under the Government’s Fuel Tanker Empowerment Programme. The programme is aimed at increasing youth participation in the petroleum sector. Speaking during the handover ceremony, Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary KANGWA CHILESHE said the handover paves the way for the assets to be transferred to beneficiary youth cooperatives across the country. Mr CHILESHE said the government remains committed to youth empowerment and ensuring that such programmes translate into productive assets. Meanwhile, Kinglong Motors Zambia Limited has described the tankers as productive assets capable of helping beneficiaries establish businesses. And Kinglong Motors General Manager, WU MING reaffirmed Kinglong Motors’ commitment to working with the Government in supporting youth empowerment and national development. Mr WU said this in a speech read on his behalf by the company’s Public Relations Manager, KEENER NJOVU.
